ALL THE SHADES OF GREY...............................................................................
I don't see how everyone can complain that Grey's is losing it's magic. Tonight's episode was...amazing. We saw so many different perspectives of all of the characters. And it was absolutley amazing.
Cristina is where we will begin. Seeing her be bright and shiny and happy was so much fun. We've never truly seen Cristina act this way, and it was really cool to see this other side to her, but it's obvious that maybe she's stuck as this new Cristina and the old Cristina may not be returning. Which I really don't have a problem with at this moment...bright and shiny Cristina is hilarious!
Meredith. Meredith, oh Meredith. At the beginning of the episode I seriously was thinking What a bitch! but by the end of the episode she redeemed herself and it all made sense. Ellis was always overbearing, and that's what she thought Susan was doing. But Susan wasn't doing that. Yay for Meredith and Susan...although I think Susan's going to die sometime soon.
Derek. Good God this man was stupid this week. Meredith or Chief? Chief or Meredith? How about you freaking just choose both! And if not, choose Meredith! Bailey is totally right, but Derek doesn't get it, and for that, he needs to be slapped.
Alex and Ava/Shannon/Jane Doe/Crush. We need a freaking name for this woman. I'm not exactly sure where they're heading with this, because she's not going home any time soon, and Addisex will be happening soon, and hopefully they won't be repeating the LVAD-cutting. So I'm really interested in seeing where Shonda's taking this next.
The Chief and Mark and Addison. Dear Lord this storyline was hilarious! Trying to get Richard laid and back into the game...classic! Mark really is smarter than you think and I honestly am beginning to think he could make a great Chief because of his unusual smarts. The dancing was a pretty good way to end the episode - it was classic Grey's style, it just cut off in the middle of the scene, leaving you begging for more.
And now to the huge storyline of the episode - and possibly the rest of the season. George, Izzie, and Callie. This storyline is really intriguing to me. Yah, they've done the love triangles before. Sure, George already slept with his best friend. Yup, he is married. But they're doing this so different and in such a relatable way that it's amazing. George and Izzie are the best friends that fell in love at the wrong time, and now gravity is pushing them together leaving Callie out in the rain. Is it wrong that I felt like Callie was a bitch in this episode? Probably, but I'm more on the Gizzie side than the O'Calley side. I have a feeling her daughter will be back sometime later next season. At first I thought Why now? But it makes perfect sense: Izzie's daughter had to come so she and George could grow closer.
This show has no faults and it severly depresses me that there are only four weeks left in the season. I cannot wait for next week - more George/Izzie flirtation, probably more Addison/Alex flirtation, Mer/Der struggles (it's about time they had one, right?), and more Cristina/Burke wedding plans. Shonda can do no wrong. Seriously!

SEATTLE RAIN™........................................................,,,........................................
i was late in writing this critique because i was late in watching it. i went to a concert thursday night and i missed our show, which was the hardest thing i think i have ever had to do. from 8 to 9 i could not stop thinking about derek and meredith and izzie and her daughter. the music didn't cover up my thoughts and they just kept coming like waves crashing down on me. finally i came home at around 11 and since i had school the next day i went to bed. the day was hard, hearing everyone talking about last night's episode. and finally, my time had come. at last i sat in front of my tv and watched my grey's anatomy. and boy let me just say it was definately worth the wait. like i told my partner in critiquing crime, mcboy, out of a possible 5 stars i give it 4.2. why not 4.3 or 4.4 or even a 5? because gizzie. i hate gizzie. makes me sick. and poor callie. what did she do to deserve a husband that prefers his best friend over his own wife? but i gave it at least a 4 because derek looked absolutely ravishing ;] and that's another reason why it's not a perfect five. because derek didn't answer meredith's call [sigh] we all know derek loves her and that he should choose her over being chief anyday but why can't derek see that? gah. i'm so sick and tired of meredith being sad. she finally has the love of her life to herself and they can't even let her be happy. darn you shonda! sorry. big merder fan here. oh and addison and the chief? ew. make it stop. please. please. please. never show addison or the chief dancing. that was awkward. like george putting izzie's pants on awkward. okay that was just down right weird. i mean seriously. ^&*)^%)@^@#^ i had to close my eyes during that scene it was that creepy. but i did like the episode. it's not one of my favorites but it was a good episode. a episode that i enjoyed. but i enjoyed the preview more...[i am getting in your bed naked] haha i love merder. so until next week my fellow friends :] blanca a.k.a. druggie
