OK, first can I just say that I'm totally looking forward to the "all-new Grey's Anatomy Event?" I mean, seriously, Shonda AND Krista (my two favorite writers) wrote it, and it doesn't appear as though Meredith will die, and, well, it just looks awesome. I can't wait for next week. At all. Like, my whole Thanksgiving is going to be revolved around this episode. (No joke.)

I really loved this episode. My only problem with it is that it felt like nothing got wrapped up at the end...I guess looking back, they did, but it didn't feel like it on immediate impact. And it was weird, since Grey's usually has such concrete wrap-ups. (Like, for example, Thatcher just disappeared!)
Other than that, this was a hilarious and heartbreaking episode. I loved that Sydney and Derek went on dates...so classic. I really liked how the whole episode compared everybody to high-schoolers, because they mention it so many times in the show (as do reviews, and such), and so to play on it was great. I must admit, at first impression, I really don't like Rose. Then again, I hated Lexie as well and now she's one of my favorite characters, so, obviously, my opinion may change. However, if she's standing in the way of MerDer, I'm not so sure...
Although, I did fall in love with Addison...
So who knows. But I loved Thatcher's return. Because, it fooled everyone. Which was great, because then at the end, Lexie said those things, and it was so shocking. And for some reason, you sympathized with both Meredith and Lexie.
I liked Bailey's storyline too. I liked seeing that different side of her. Plus, DB Woodside is a good actor (I've watched him on 24). Although, of course, it was annoying that he had to come right after Bailey gets Chief Resident...
Finally, we get more and more of Alex's backstory. I bet this is why Lexie and Alex are together. They probably have a lot to relate to together, we just don't know it yet. Although, with Ava coming back next week, I've got no idea what's going to happen.
And then we come to George and Izzie. Oh man. I'm so lost as to where that last scene left them. I can't figure out if they're still together or if they're broken up because they want to be best friends again. So I'm really interested in seeing that next week.
