I didn't think this could get any better. But it did. This is the
Grey's Anatomy I know and love. When they do things like this, well, I
remember why I fell in love with this show in the first place. I loved every
single moment of tonight's episode. I loved how it began with the end,
leaving us to figure out how they'd end up in those places by the end of the
episode. And the dancing...the dancing will probably go down as one of my
absolute most favorite scenes ever. It even beats out the
Cristina/Burke dancing scene of season two. The song, the slow motion, it
was perfect.
Every single storyline was amazing. I loved seeing the different sides of
each character, and each character had their own issues to deal with. I
loved how the racist storyline was turned right back around on Bailey. At
the same time, it shocked me, because I didn't
even see it that way. I couldn't believe what George said to Nazi-man, but
it was utterly spellbinding and was an amazing speech.
It's a shame Seth Green's character had to die, but I see the reasoning
behind it...it was to help Lexie grow, and get Meredith and Lexie together
(another reason why the end was so phenomenal).
I loved Alex's monologue to Rebecca/Ava. It was so "old Alex," and
harsh, and probably so true too. I just don't understand how they went from
that to sex... Nonetheless, the repercussions of that should be interesting
when Grey's returns (whenever that may). Especially considering
Lexie's right downstairs dancing...
I like that Izzie finally realized that she's not Cristina. Because
Izzie is so far from Cristina it's amazing they're even friends (in a
sense). I was glad to see George and Izzie talk about their
relationship...the turnout was quite interesting, but actually quite
pleasing, and I look forward to seeing what happens with them, because
there's so many things that could...
With Bailey, I'm sincerely worried for her. I've heard about what may be
coming up in the next episode, whenever that may air, and I'm really worried
for her. She's such a strong person and her husband just doesn't get it
(although I guess I can see both sides), and, I'm just worried. Really,
really worried. And I'm interested to see how this event in the next episode
will help or ruin her marriage...
And, finally, we must come to Derek, Meredith, and Rose. I hate myself for
this, I really, really do, because I'm a huge MerDer fan and was so proud of
Meredith for making progress (so freaking proud), and then he kisses
Rose...and I...smiled. During the whole thing. I actually felt happy. I
expected to feel disgusted, but I felt happy and I couldn't believe it. I
must actually like Rose. I look forward to seeing what happens with that
whole thing, because Meredith is making progress...so much progress...
Ugh...I just looked at the boards. It upsets me
a ton. A ton. People are FREAKING OUT over the Rose/Derek kiss. Like,
threatening to stop watching, freaking out. That, seriously, is the only
thing I'm seeing people discuss about it. I don't get what the big deal
is...I mean, seriously, it's not as if the relationship's going to last
forever (this is TV), and Shonda's doing this to turn the tables. For the
past three years, Derek's been wanting Meredith and she won't take him. Now,
Meredith wants Derek and he's got someone else. It makes perfect sense. But
I'm worried for you guys. Because Grey's Anatomy is such an amazing
show and I just don't want to see it go the way of The O.C.
(ratings-wise, I mean, creatively, it was amazing LOL).
Nevertheless, in my opinion, you guys did an AMAZING job tonight with Crash
Into Me. I loved
it so much...definitely more than Part One, honestly. Here's to hoping you
guys make more episodes like this.
