Wow, that episode was so not what I was expecting. It was good. Really, really good. But totally different from what I was expecting, and honestly, it seemed kind of "out-of-sync" with the past three episodes of the season. My favorite part of tonight's episode was the therapist storyline. I loved how the therapist wouldn't let Meredith give up, and the bathroom scene was great. As was the final scene. "So you think I'm broken? Fix me." Awesome final line for the night.
I'm really hoping that Cristina decides to move on next week. It is great to see that she is finally coming to terms with Burke's leaving her. But it honestly is getting a bit annoying because Cristina is just so...not Cristina and it's, well, weird.
I'm glad that Lexie is finally standing up for herself. To Meredith. To Cristina. To them all. She's been a great addition to the show this season, so I'm hoping she'll be a more integral part of it soon.
George being the "Chief's intern." Hmmm...I wonder how that will play out! I think it is good for him - so that he can finally learn, I dunno, more lessons. More responsibility, maybe? And maybe, just maybe, the chance to be a resident?
The whole Mark/Callie/Erica storyline is really, really funny and I think really opens up a new venue of television, with a character possibly grappling with the idea that she may be gay or bisexual or whatever. I'm still hoping they aren't the big kiss, but I think they are even more so after tonight. As for Mark, well, he's just hilarious. And I doubt this "new leaf" will last for long.
ROSE IS ALMOST GONE!! I can't tell you how happy all of us are for that. We all know she'll be leaving after next week's finale, and we are jumping for joy. I'll be honest - I'm not sure how Shonda's getting MerDer together next week. Not sure. At all. That is the part I am most excited to see because I literally have no idea how she is going to do it.
The Alex/Rebecca/Izzie storyline, I'll admit, is a bit creepy. It's funny too because the fans have thought for a long time that Rebecca had some kind of mental problem, and now, look! She does! But I've got no idea how it is gonna end though, so I look forward to seeing it!
And what a freakin' BOMB did Meredith drop at the end of the episode?! I was not expecting that. AT ALL. I couldn't believe it. I think I actually gasped. It makes so many more things make sense and fall into place. I just...that was an amazing revelation, so I can't wait to see what Shonda pulls out of her hat next! (On a side note, it was great to see the bomb episodes tied into the therapist session too!)

I can't believe next week is the finale. It is so exciting, but so sad at the same time. Minus the whole Callie/Erica kiss thing, I have no idea what Shonda could possibly have planned for the finale, and I am so excited! I know it is going to be an AMAZING episode - especially considering Shonda (my favorite writer!) wrote it.

Thanks so much for another ground-breaking episode, and I'll talk to you again next Thursday after the finale!!!
