I think tonight's episode ranks as one of my favorite ever. And I'm not kidding. It turned out so completely different from what I was expecting - and it was a good different too. The shocking thing - at least to me - is that this is an episode from a writer who has never written an episode of Grey's before, yet has now written one of my favorite episodes and totally risen to the top five on my list of favorite writers. The episode was perfectly balanced and MerDer was distributed evenly throughout the episode - something we all want to thank you guys for - and it was so damn funny. Not to mention there was sex, and sex is always good in the Grey's universe. This episode also took many very surprising turns that I didn't see coming at all - such as Mark and Callie (I love their relationship), Lexie and George (woah is all I can say to that), Meredith dropping the kidney (I couldn't believe it!), and best of all - ALEX AND IZZIE! Man, I love those two and I really hope they rekindle - for good - this season. Seriously. Love them Love them Love them. The only thing that seemed...odd? maybe about this episode was George's screentime. After his major event from last week, it seemed strange that he was absent from much of this episode, but I think the final scene with him and Lexie completely made up for it. I also wish The Chief would finally get over himself and stop being such an ass, but I think that's just part of his personality. Bailey, however, was great in this episode - so freakin' hilarious. And Cristina, oh Cristina...
